Module 1: Transportation Logistics from A to Z (16 hours)

  • History of transportation logistics
  • Common logistics abbreviations and terminology
  • Maps used in logistics
  • Delivery terms – Incoterms
  • Cargo packaging and marking
  • Loading and securing cargo on transport vehicles
  • Transportation documents: waybill, weight certificate, export declaration, certificate of origin, veterinary and phytosanitary certificates
  • Dangerous goods: classification, documentation, packaging, hazard pictograms
  • Preparing freight inquiries and selecting carrier companies
  • Road transportation: vehicle types, required documents, international organizations and conventions
  • Sea transportation: vessel and container types, sea ports and port operations, international organizations and conventions, shipping documents
  • Air transportation: aircraft types, airport coding, air freight pricing structure, air transport documents
  • Rail transportation: wagon types, railway station coding, related documentation
  • Logistics risks and risk mitigation methods
  • Practical exercises

Module 2: Customs Legislation and Procedures (8 hours)

  • Customs legislation and customs control
  • Structure, departments, and posts of the Customs Committee
  • Customs clearance procedures
  • Preparation of cargo documents for customs clearance
  • Obtaining certificate of origin and AQTA certificates
  • Customs procedures
  • HS code (Commodity Classification) identification and classification
  • Customs tariffs and duties
  • Customs valuation and its calculation
  • Calculation of customs payments
  • Release of goods from customs terminals
  • Practical exercises

Total duration: 24 hours

Schedule:

Tuesdays from 7:15 PM to 9:15 PM

Saturdays from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM

This program provides a comprehensive foundation for anyone aiming to start a career in logistics from scratch.
